The purpose of this position is to accurately manage storeroom supplies for our customer. The job consists of ordering and stocking supplies, unloading trailers, and moving product around the outside yard with the use of a forklift. The job also entails the use of computer applications to receive, order, and distribute product.
About the position:
- Consistent pay: $16.50
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (Will have to be flexible starting as early as 4am and working as late as 5pm)
- Will cover areas in and around West Palm Beach (company vehicle will be provided)
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent which includes:
- Ability to read and do basic mathematics
- Understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
- Strong technical aptitude which includes the following:
- Ability to use programs such as Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to use scanners
- Ability to enter orders into a WMS System
- Must be comfortable using a computer (Outlook, Word & Excel specifically)
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs unassisted
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain outstanding relationships with all levels of the organization (peers, work-groups, customer, supervisors)
- Experience with the use of forklifts and pallet jacks
