The Pallet Inspector I is responsible for inspecting and separating CHEP pallets that are in need of repair and
placing them on the palamatic line ready to be picked up by the forklift in a manner that meets company
standards for safety, security, and productivity, in addition to adhering to CHEP's quality criteria.
1 to 2 years or more in Carpentry, Manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to comprehend basic math
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to work within a diverse work environment
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Work independently and as a member of a team
Be a team player
Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
