Under supervision from a floor supervisor or manager, the floor clerk provides clerical support to an area or shift of the operation. Responsibilities may vary by location but can include one or more of the following: Receiving, Shipping, Returns, Inventory Control, Quality Control, etc. This position ensures an efficient operation. It also organizes and disseminates information by using the WMS system, telephone, web sites and email. May also be responsible for metrics tracking and reporting.
The Quality Clerk assists the Quality Manager with administrative tasks associated with documentation of quality related policies, practices, and materials. This role includes coordinating quality audits, organizing and tracking training and assisting the Quality Manager with implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The primary goal will be to help improve quality awareness throughout the production process and customer satisfaction through delivery of a quality product, as well as contributing to our ISO9001 certification efforts through administrative functions.
